Then and Now

Question:  What does the very first issue of Consumer Reports, issued in 1936, have in common with the current issue, 71 years later?

Answer:  Both issues warned of the dangers of lead in paint.

Kind of a sad statement about the irrelevence of consumer awareness of public safety issues, if you ask me.
