Jaws is cool. I like it when they get drunk on the boat. And I like the part when we first see Mr. Jaws display his mighty, uh, jaws. What's not to like about this movie? I wish Spielberg would make a film about a big lizard or alligator. Something that could concievably enter my own domain and do me harm. I have a recurring dream about an alligator that comes out of our canal and right up to our sliding glass door. I'm usually trying to get the girls to safety, always ending up standing on our patio table, fighting Mr. Alligator off with a bbq utensil. I guess I could try to end the dream by putting a tank of propane gas in his mouth and throwing Partylite candles at him until he explodes. That would be cool.

I know, this is just so stupid. And they're talking about tacking on a manslaughter rap to the guy the cops were chasing, which is totally unfair. He's an ass and deserves to be prosecuted for his original crime, but really...And you know, these helicoptor "chases" will continue. I certainly don't make a decision to watch or not watch the local news shows based on stuff like this. In fact, I have sworn off local news unless there's a hurricane a-comin'. Feh.

Ron Paul is showing up absolutely everywhere. I wouldn't be surprised if he does a lot better than people are expecting, especially with the way the primaries are all topsy-turvy right now.

Huckabee just sounds like a guy who wouldn't believe in evolution. These people are to be avoided at all cost. The only Republican I would even consider voting for is Ron Paul, Porn Star for President. Well, that's what we liked to say back in '88 (Smash the state in '88!) when he ran as a Libertarian. I even worked on his campaign. Yeah me! Yeah Ron Paul! Viva revolucion!

Rowling should compile a book of spells. It would be a big seller among kids who go around shooting make-believe spells at each other.

It should list the name of the spell, its pronunciation, what the spell does, and maybe an example of a situation in which the spell works best.

Filthy and I LOVED this film. The story was depressing but the extended shots were cool to watch. And I finally liked Michael Caine in something!
